Re*Act for humanity, a german-israelian-polish youth project about hate, racism and civil courage

In the project "re * act for humanity" young people from Germany, Israel and Poland deal with historical and current aspects of hatred, racism and civil courage. The starting point are stories about people who protected Jews from Nazi terror and thus endangered their own lives. The young people should understand the motive of the persons who belonged to different social groups in different countries. Experiences with history should provide an incentive to reflect on one's own actions and strengthen the capacity for moral courage in the three countries against the background of current social conflicts, violence and racism. The non-formal education project involves encounters in the three countries. The young people work together to create an exhibition
